Social and Behavioral Sciences Online Master of Public Health
The Social and Behavioral Sciences Online Master of Public Health (MPH) in the College of Public Health is perfect for working professionals and students returning to the classroom while balancing work and family. Students can learn from home to assess health-related behavioral, cultural and social factors through communication and education. Students who complete an MPH may also be eligible to sit for the Certification in Public Health exam and the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam.
In the Online MPH, you’ll learn to serve vulnerable populations including children, individuals with chronic illness, and people living in poverty. Fieldwork is a major part of the curriculum, and students can perform hands-on practica at over 175 community partners sites.
The online MPH program is taught by the same expert faculty members and practitioners as the in-person Social and Behavioral Sciences MPH program. A low student-to-faculty ratio allows you to take advantage of personalized instruction and advising. Professors also have strong ties with community partners, enabling them to bring real-world issues and experiences to the virtual classroom. As an online student, you’ll have access to Temple’s on-campus resources including libraries, the writing center, and the career center.
