Individually Designed Dual Law Degrees

Combine your law degree with a master’s in another subject of your interest. In addition to the JD/MBA and JD/MPH programs, the Law School will consider requests to pursue dual degrees (e.g., a JD/MA in history, political science, psychology, or religion) on an individualized basis. MPH Dual Degree Concentrations

For each of the above dual degrees, students can choose one of the following five public health concentrations:

  • Applied Biostatistics MPH: Apply your knowledge of statistics and analytics to the study of public health. Learn to calculate risk for individual data sets and evaluate policy with complex information in accordance with the Council on Education for Public Health. 
  • Environmental Health MPH: Support positive health by addressing people’s environments, and focus on the health science and data knowledge required to understand pertinent factors. Learn to identify and mitigate environmental risks to public health, as well as investigate and report on progress after intervention. 
  • Epidemiology MPH: Research populations and their health challenges and learn to design studies, survey health problems, examine the bioethics of human research and grasp the core methods of biostatistics. 
  • Health Policy and Management MPH: Interpret health policy for practical leadership of healthcare institutions, providers and agencies through a program that includes all the elements of healthcare research and transformation, as well as intensive fieldwork. 
  • Social and Behavioral Science MPH: Promote health by understanding the holistic factors of illness and health care access with a program that trains practitioners to assess behavioral, social, and cultural factors through communication, counseling, and education. Graduates are well placed to join health-related industries or administer educational departments.

MD/PhD in Biomedical Sciences
