The Temple University ice hockey club is a proud member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association and is one of only 70 teams nationwide who compete at the Division I level. The club operates out of the Igloo Ice Rink in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, and has its own locker room with showers and laundry on site.

The Temple Owls typically play a 25-game season with three overnight trips. The club’s efforts to compete in the Eastern Collegiate Hockey Association (ECHA) are fully backed by Head Coach Pat Carroll and assistant coaches Frank Blust and Kevin Rider.

The ECHA consists of George Mason, Lehigh, Towson, West Chester, William Paterson, Villanova, the United States Naval Academy and Temple.

The Owls practice twice per week on Tuesday and Thursday nights and have at least one off-ice workout session per week.

The club holds one open tryout at the beginning of every season and encourages anyone interested in playing to attend.

All home and select away games are fully covered and broadcast on the TUICE Network by the club’s media team. Links for the broadcast can be found on the team’s social media platforms linked at the bottom of this page.
