Teaching in Higher Education Certificate (Graduate)

Teaching in Higher Education Certificate

The Teaching in Higher Education Certificate program provides students with experience using research-based teaching methods to promote student achievement, development and learning. Students develop a learning-centered, purposeful and reflective approach to teaching, and learn to create enhanced syllabi and engaging classroom activities.

The Teaching in Higher Education certificate program welcomes current faculty members interested in enriching their teaching practices, as well as high school teachers or other professionals who aim to teach in higher education.

Delivery Method

You may complete the six-credit certificate entirely online on a part-time basis. Though you won’t take classes on campus, you’ll complete your online coursework and projects in groups with classmates.
