The Orthodontics graduate program accepts six applicants per academic year. Applicants should have a DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school, according to the standards of the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), and have completed the National Board Dental Examination.
Preference is given to applicants with demonstrated experience in clinical care, research or service.
How To Apply
Apply through the American Dental Education Association Postdoctoral Application Support Service (ADEA PASS). You should confirm with PASS that your application has been received, as the organization only forwards completed records to Temple for processing. Review PASS application instructions for our program. PASS deadline: Sept. 1 of the year preceding the expected date of enrollment.
In support of the PASS application, the following supporting materials should be sent to Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry Department of Orthodontics.
Register with the National Matching Service (MATCH) Postdoctoral Dental Matching Program, which pairs applicants with postdoctoral dental education programs. Applicants who are accepted into the Orthodontics graduate program will be rank ordered and their names will be submitted to MATCH. You will be notified of your match with a program on the date chosen by the National Matching Service.
