Careers & Opportunities

Field Experience & Student Teaching

If you are pursuing a Superintendent Letter of Eligibility, you will complete fieldwork as part of your academic program. Gain firsthand knowledge in classrooms through immersive field placements and student teaching experiences.

Voluntary Internships

If you are not pursuing a Superintendent Letter of Eligibility, internships provide opportunities to gain hands-on experience, refine your understanding of your coursework and make professional contacts who can assist your future career development. Internships are voluntary experiences that take place outside of the program curriculum: students do not receive credit for internships.

School & Community Partnerships

As part of its mission to give back to the surrounding community and provide substantive fieldwork experiences for its students, the College of Education and Human Development has formed partnerships with more than 25 institutions and organizations.
