Upon completion of the Dance MFA program, you’ll better understand the role dance plays in your own life and in a pluralistic, global society. You’ll hone your professional skills as a choreographer, performer, director, teacher, researcher and/or arts administrator across broad to specific fields of dance, such as
- professional dance company,
- education (pre-K—higher education),
- community programs/lifelong learning,
- professional organizations (local, regional, national and international),
- dance for film and media production, and
- interdisciplinary collaboration.
