Upon completion of the Dance MFA program, you’ll better understand the role dance plays in your own life and in a pluralistic, global society. You’ll hone your professional skills as a choreographer, performer, director, teacher, researcher and/or arts administrator across broad to specific fields of dance, such as

  • professional dance company,
  • education (pre-K—higher education),
  • community programs/lifelong learning,
  • professional organizations (local, regional, national and international),
  • dance for film and media production, and
  • interdisciplinary collaboration.

Career Services

Boyer College of Music and Dance provides small class sizes, intimate performance ensembles and a tight-knit academic community. Faculty members mentor students on an individual basis, helping them seek out internships and job opportunities.
