Temple University is planning a “primarily in person” Fall 2021 semester with many students returning to campus, President Richard Englert announced Monday.  

Temple University has contended with $120 million in lost revenues and increased costs, president Richard M. Englert told lawmakers. Excluding Temple University Health System, Temple had $1.6 billion in revenue last year.

“If the city says, hey, take it to 2,000 a day, we’ll figure out where to move and how to take it to 2,000,” said Temple Chief Medical Officer Tony Reed.

Temple University is one of seven public universities selected by the Charles Schwab Corporation to participate in a $3.5 million endowed scholarship program to support underrepresented students studying financial services.
