College of Liberal Arts Research

Research in the College of Liberal Arts provides graduate students opportunities to collaborate and lead initiatives that span the humanities, social sciences and STEM fields. Research Facilities

Graduate students in Temple’s College of Liberal Arts have access to the following state-of-the-art, collaborative research centers and institutes.

  • Housed within the Lewis Katz School of Medicine, the Center for Asian Health seeks to reduce health disparities and improve health equity among underserved Asian Pacific Americans and other diverse health disparity populations. 
  • The Center for the Humanities at Temple is an interdisciplinary forum for scholarship and intellectual inquiry in the humanities, intended to bridge the disciplinary divide between departments and colleges.
  • The Public Policy Lab is home to researchers who study public policies and the social processes relevant to their development and consequences.
  • The Temple University Brain Research and Imaging Center is an interdisciplinary research hub dedicated to the study of neurological biology and behavior. 
  • The University Community Collaborative prepares and supports youth and young adults to become confident, effective leaders, and it creates cultures that value and integrate the contributions of youth with the goal of building stronger communities.

Research Funding
