Strategically booking flights and train tickets to maximize travel time and gain a lead ahead of the other teams, Temple alum Alyssa Borden and her husband, Josiah, visited nine countries and 17 cities and traveled more than 28,000 miles, racing through Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, France and Portugal on The Amazing Race 37.

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, during a news conference with Temple University President John Fry and Vice President and the Debbie and Stanley Lefkowitz ’65 Director of Athletics Arthur Johnson, K.C. Keeler was formally introduced as the next coach of the Temple Football Team.

A pathbreaking gift from Debbie and Stanley Lefkowitz, CST ’65, will create the Debbie and Stanley Lefkowitz ’65 Director of Athletics position. The new endowment will allow the Athletic Department to further enhance the student-athlete experience. The support and commitment from the Lefkowitz' will directly impact Temple student-athletes in perpetuity by providing resources that, at the discretion of the vice president and Lefkowitz director of athletics, support the success of Temple’s student-athletes.
