How To Apply
To apply, fill out the School of Theater, Film and Media Arts certificate application [PDF]. There is no application fee. The application should be submitted electronically to daep@temple.edu.
To qualify for enrollment in the Documentary Arts and Ethnographic Research Graduate Certificate program, students must hold a baccalaureate degree and must be currently enrolled in an MFA or PhD program at Temple University.
Supporting Materials
- Recommendations: Students must submit one letter of reference, which must be submitted by the applicant student’s advisor.
- Statement of Goals: Describe your reasons for pursuing the certificate in Documentary Arts and Ethnographic Research in 250 words.
- Interview: Students will be invited for an interview with a member of the Certificate Steering Committee.
- GPA: Students must be in good academic standing in their current MFA or PhD program, maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
