Accessible Digital Office Project

A project of the Inclusive Design Research Centre, OCAD University which provides detailed instructions on how to create accessible documents from a variety of platforms (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, iWork, Open Office, and Corel Office.)

Accessible Technology Coalition

This consumer driven grassroots organization is a project of the Center for Accessible Technology which provides answers, training and articles on the accessibility of technology to people with disabilities, and those that work with them.

Adobe Accessibility

Adobe's accessibility site has information and resources for making accessible documents using their products.

DO-IT

Based at the University of Washington, DO-IT serves to increase the participation of individuals with disabilities in challenging academic programs and careers.

Knowbility

This national non-profit organization supports the independence of people with disabilities by improving access to technology.

Microsoft Accessibility

Microsoft's accessibility site has tutorials on how to check for accessibility issues in documents created using their products, and guides to accessibility features in their products.

National Center for Accessible Media (NCAM)

A non-profit R&D organization dedicated to achieving media access equality for people with disabilities.

The Trace Research & Development Center is part of the College of Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Since 1971, Trace has been a pioneer in the field of technology and disability.

Guild of Accessible Web Designers (GAWDS)

GAWDS is an association of organizations and individual developers working together to promote accessible design standards.

W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI)

The W3C is committed to leading the web to its full potential. Its initiatives include promoting a high degree of usability for people with disabilities.

This grassroots coalition fights for standards that ensure simple, affordable access to web technologies for all.
