The Biotechnology Certificate (Graduate) program is primarily dedicated to producing well-trained historians who aspire to earn a postgraduate degree; seek to teach in primary and secondary schools; and work in public history institutions, including archives, historical parks, government agencies and museums.

Graduates of the Biotechnology Certificate (Graduate) program work at numerous colleges and universities in tenured and tenure-track positions, as historians for federal and state governments, in museums, university presses, and as university administrators.
