Biography
Dr. Yannaccone received his bachelor of science in health science and master of science in physical therapy degrees from College Misericordia (now Misericordia University), located in Dallas, Pennsylvania, in 2002. After nearly five years of full-time practice in the acute and home healthcare settings, Dr. Yannaccone returned to graduate school, earning a PhD in physiology from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia, in 2012. In 2022, he was selected as an APTA Association Leadership Scholar and is a member of the Society of APTA Association Leadership Scholars. Dr. Yannaccone continues to practice in the acute care setting on a per diem basis.
