Health Justice and Bioethics Graduate Certificate

Learn to understand and analyze the complex issues surrounding health inequities in urban areas through the Certificate in Urban Bioethics in the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. In this specialized graduate certificate program, students explore the ethics, values and value conflicts involved in healthcare in addition to gaining practical skills, theoretical orientations and the resources necessary to deliver better care. Students graduate ready to become innovators in research, care delivery, and policy and advocacy work.

Located at Temple University’s Health Sciences Center campus, the Urban Bioethics Certificate is a viable option if you are seeking additional bioethics training but are unable to fully commit to the Urban Bioethics MA or who wish to explore the field before applying to the master’s program. You have one year after being awarded the certificate to apply for the MA program. If accepted, all certificate credits can be applied to the master’s degree.
