Reporting Structure

The chief audit executive reports directly to the president of the university and concurrently to the Board of Trustees.  As noted in its Charter, the purpose of the Temple University's Audit and Advisory Services is to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the University's operations.

Audit and Advisory Services provides the president and the members of the Compliance, Audit, and Risk Committee of the Board of Trustees with copies of all internal audit reports. Copies of internal audit reports are also provided to the members of the Management Audit and Compliance Committee, whose membership includes many of the university vice presidents and the provost.
