Ph.D., Dean TEMPLE UNIVERSITY FORT WASHINGTON 401 Commerce Drive Temple University Ambler and the Temple University Fort Washington (TUFW) Graduate and Professional Center bring the vast resources, outstanding faculty, and academic prestige of Temple University to suburban Montgomery County. The Ambler Campus is situated on 187 acres along Meetinghouse Road in Upper Dublin Township. TUFW, where Ambler’s graduate courses are held, is just three miles away in the Fort Washington Office Park. Both sites are minutes from the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Route 309 and attract students who live or work north of Philadelphia, especially those from Montgomery, Bucks, Lehigh, and Northampton counties. Route 476 also makes the campuses a quick commute for those from Chester and Delaware counties. Temple University Ambler offers more than 100 majors, 18 complete undergraduate degree programs, and 11 complete graduate programs to its 4,000 students. The home of Temple’s department of Landscape Architecture and Horticulture, the campus has beautiful grounds and a distinctive charm with formal gardens, wooded areas, and an arboretum. In addition to our Graduate and Professional Center in Fort Washington, the campus has 20 buildings, including a library with more than 92,000 research materials, science laboratories, "smart" classrooms, distance learning technology, extensive computing labs, a computer-assisted design lab, and residence halls. Outdoor recreation areas include an Olympic-size swimming pool plus tennis and basketball courts. All of these facilities are available to graduate students. The graduate curriculum
is particularly strong in business, pharmaceutics, education, and engineering.
Students are often surprised to learn that the Graduate and Professional
Center in Fort Washington has one of the largest selections of graduate
business courses of any Temple campus. It is also the only site in the
country to offer the M.S. in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs
(QA/RA) for professionals in the pharmaceutical industry. In addition,
coursework for the doctoral degree in Engineering can be completed at
Fort Washington. Several exciting certificate programs also are available,
which provide in-depth training for specifically targeted areas of the
pharmaceutical and engineering industries. Two certification programs

for business The Temple University Fort Washington Graduate and Professional Center has corporate-style classrooms, cutting-edge computer labs, and instructional technology designed to support Temple University Ambler’s graduate programs. To meet the needs of working students, TUFW offers advising services in the evening, Open Houses every fall and spring, bookstore services at the beginning of each semester, computer-based access to library and Internet research facilities, plus a vendeteria which is open whenever classes are in session.
