Visual Design
Tyler School of Art offers the Master of Fine Arts degree in
Visual Design. The M.F.A. program prepares graduates for careers as professional
artists, craftpersons, designers, and educators. The Master of Fine Arts program is
intended for a student whose work has achieved strong definition and who seeks continued
growth and education. The Visual Design program encourages students to expand and
refine the skills that they have developed as undergraduates, as well as to explore
personal directions as designers.
The Master of Fine Arts is a two-year, 60 credit-hour
program. Students are required to attend the program full-time. This program
is offered at the Tyler campus.
Tyler School of Art is an accredited member of the National
Association of Schools of Art and Design, National Architectural Accrediting Board, and
the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
