The Esther Boyer College of Music offers the Master of Music
in Piano Pedagogy. The Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy degree program expands the
resources, skills, and insights of pianists who wish to be teachers, either in a private
studio or at an institution, and who---in addition to having a comprehensive knowledge
about teaching children and adults at an elementary level---are equipped to teach
intermediate and early advanced students.
The Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy consists of 30 credit
hours of course work ordinarily taken over a period of two years. All classes are
offered on the Main campus.
The Esther Boyer College of Music is accredited by the
National Association of Schools of Music.
