The Esther Boyer College of Music offers the Master of Music
in Music History and Literature. The degree is intended for those who wish to expand
their knowledge of historical styles, genres, composers, periods, music leterature, and
analytical techniques, and especially for those who want to pursue a doctoral degree in
musicology.
The Master of Music in Music History and Literature consists
of 31 credit hours of course work ordinarily taken over a period of two years. All classes
are offered on the Main campus.
The Ester Boyer College of Music is accredited by the
National Association of Schools of Music.
