Microbiology and Immunology
The School of Medicine offers the Master of Science and
Doctor of Philosophy degree in Microbiology. The program provides a foundation for
students wishing to pursue a career in research and teaching.
Completion of the Masters degree requires 20 credit hours of
coursework in the Department, exclusive of research, and write and defend a
thesis. The doctorate requires two years of full-time residence and 30 credit hours
of coursework exclusive of research. All students must be enrolled full-time and courses
are offered at Temple University's Health Sciences campus.
