Fibers and Fabric Design

Tyler School of Art offers the Master of Fine Arts degree in Fibers and Fabric Design.  The M.F.A. program prepares graduates for careers as professional artists, craftpersons, designers, and educators. The Master of Fine Arts program is intended for a student whose work has achieved strong definition and who seeks continued growth and education.   The areas of study include traditional textile: surface design and embellishment, weaving, off-loom and non-traditional areas where personal work may have some basis in fiber materials or techniques.

The Master of Fine Arts is a two-year, 60 credit hour program.  Students are required to attend the program full-time.  This program is offered at the Tyler campus.

Tyler School of Art is an accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, National Architectural Accrediting Board, and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
