Business Administration Ph.D.

The Fox School of Business and Management offers the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Business Administration.  There are seven different specialization's: Accounting, Finance, General and Strategic Management, Human Resource Administration, International Business Administration, Marketing and Risk, Insurance, and Healthcare.  The program aims at preparing its graduates for university teaching and advanced research positions.

The Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration requires 45 credit-hours of course work and a proposal, preparation, and defense of a dissertation.   The fifteen courses are divided into a three course business core, a four course statistics sequence, a four or five course specialization, and three or four elective courses.  M.B.A. credits may not be transferred toward the Ph.D. degree.  The program is available for full-time students only and most classes are offered on Temple's Main Campus.

The Fox School of Business and Management is accredited by the American Association of Colleges and Schools of Business as a doctoral degree granting institution.
