Adult and Organizational
Development
The Department of Psychological Studies in Education offers a
Master of Education in Adult and Organizational Development. The program prepares
researchers and practitioners who can bring about planned change in the behavior of
individual adult learners, groups, and systems. It provides a framework within which
to study organizations, programs, consultation processes, and evaluation techniques.
Students in the Masters program can choose between two options, Adult Learning and
Training, or Organizational and Team Development.
All students complete a group of core courses which includes
Interpersonal Dynamics, System Dynamics, Socio-Cultural Dynamics, and a practicum.
The program is a minimum of 36 credit hours and a comprehensive examination is
required. Courses are offered at Temple University's Main Campus.
