Adult Primary Care (Nurse Practitioner)
The Nurse Practioner Post-Master's
Certificate in Adult Primary Care concentrates on providing direct primary care, medical
diagnoses, wellness teaching and health promotion, disease prevention and early detection
services, health education through the application of health policy, research, case
management, and consultation principles in a culturally sensitive partnership with
patients, families and communities. One of the many benefits of the certificate
program is its clinical practice in primary care settings serving underserved,
multicultural populations of Philadelphia and surrounding counties.
