Honor Societies
Phi Beta Kappa: Phi Beta Kappa is an honor society open to juniors and seniors in the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Science and Technology, and the Department of Art History. To qualify for Phi Beta Kappa, a student must maintain a high grade point average in a broad, rigorous program of study in the liberal arts, including mathematics and foreign language. Golden Key: Golden Key is a national academic honors organization dedicated to excellence. Golden Key is interdisciplinary and unites the talents of the brightest undergraduate students in America. Golden Key also provides service opportunities for all university students.
Membership is by invitation only, and no more than the top 15% percent of the juniors and seniors enrolled may be eligible. The Golden Key mailbox is in The Student Center where the Student Organization Offices are located.
