Academic Programs / Ambler College Academic Advising InformationAcademic and Career Development The Office of Academic and Career Development provides access for Ambler College students to both professional and faculty advisors who assist students with their choice of programs and curricula, help students understand the University and its policies and procedures, and help students to attain their vocational and postgraduate goals. Students must assume primary responsibility for knowing the requirements for their degree and for acquiring current information about their academic status. Academic advisors attempt to avoid errors when advising students about their program requirements, but schools and colleges cannot assume liability for errors in advising. Newly-admitted freshmen and transfer students are advised for their first semester by professional advisors. Continuing students with 30 semester hours or more usually see faculty advisors.
