NEST Professional Development
Enhancing Communities Learning Series
In partnership with The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) and Millersville University’s Nonprofit Resource Network (NRN), Temple NEST offers this series to nonprofits to learn about important and relevant issues affecting nonprofits. The series provides more than a chance to passively listen to presentations. The series is an interactive process of discovering new talents, opportunities and resources in the community – all while making the community more aware of your organization’s work. Each session includes:
- Networking
- A call for announcements about upcoming events, training workshops and funding opportunities
- A presentation from a community partner about their agency and services
- A brief workshop on a topic germane to nonprofit capacity building or community-based issues. At specially designed events, the program will include an extended workshop.
