Youth Programs

Summer Education Camps

Temple’s Summer Education Camps provide a wonderful opportunity for youths to learn about a specific area of interest, experience a college campus and have lots of fun at the same time. This year we will be offering youth summer camps at Ambler, Main Campus, and the Center City location.

Camps are available for kids, tweens, and teens between the ages of 8 and 17, during the months of June, July and August. Most camps are one-week, full-day camps that run Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., although shorter and longer camp sessions are also available.

If you need extended care before 8:30 AM and after 5:00 PM, please contact the Office of Non-Credit and Continuing Education regarding your needs at, or 267-468-8500. Extended care will be offered as follows:

8:00 AM to 8:30 AM = $25/week

5:00 PM to 6:00 PM = $50/week

Campers must be registered for a full day of camp to eligible for before and/or after care.

There are no dining services for camps. Campers should bring lunch in a small cooler or insulated bag; there is no refrigeration available for camper lunches. Campers will be supervised by the camp staff during the lunch hour. Lunch is from 12pm to 1pm. If your child is attending two 1/2 day camp sessions (a morning session and an afternoon session), they will join the other campers and camp staff for the lunch hour. The lunch hour may also include time for movies and games. Campers may also want to bring snacks for break times during the morning and afternoon.
