Multipurpose Facility/Stadium

In January 2018, Temple President Richard M. Englert announced that the university was taking “the next step” with its plans for a multipurpose facility that includes a football stadium. The university intends to file a project submission to the City Planning Commission as it seeks governmental approvals for the proposal.

The decision came after more than two years of careful review of the potential for, and impacts of, the facility. This page contains a project history and overview, and answers to frequently asked questions, among other material. Updates will be posted here as the process continues.
