Staff Services and Campus Updates

Temple has implemented changes across the university, our campuses and our services in response to the pandemic. Intended to safeguard the health of our community and allow for adherence to the four public health pillars, these changes include updates to certain employee services, on-campus buildings and more.

On-campus Parking

The Office of Parking Services made the following updates to the parking options available to employees. The office is no longer completing in-office transactions.

Course Formats

On Sept. 3, President Englert and Provost Epps announced that all classes will pivot to online learning. All in-person courses, except for essentials-only courses, have been suspended for the fall semester.

Calendar Changes

Temple will start the fall semester at Aug. 24 and end the on-campus presence at the end of the day on Friday, Nov. 20, when fall break begins. The last week of classes, study period and finals will be conducted remotely.

On-campus Housing

On Sept. 3, President Englert and Provost Epps announced that all classes will pivot to online learning. All in-person courses, except for essentials-only courses, have been suspended for the fall semester. Students may choose to remain on campus. Students who remain will continue to have access to academic, support and health services. Students who choose to leave university housing by Sunday, Sept. 13, will be provided with a full refund of housing and meal plan charges for the fall semester.
