Admission Requirements and Deadlines

Speech Language Hearing, MA

Applications are evaluated together, after the deadline has passed.

Letters of reference
Number Required:2

From whom:
Teachers, clinical supervisors, or others who can speak to the applicant's academic or clinical abilities and personal integrity.

Statement of Goals:
The statement should be roughly 500-1000 words in length, and should address the applicant's interest in the field, academic and personal preparation, and career goals.

Standardized Test Scores:
The GRE is required. 50% (raw score of 500) on verbal and quantitative sections

Minimum TOEFL score or range of scores needed to be accepted:
575 on the paper-based test or 230 on the computer-based test. Applicants who score below 600 on the paper-based test or 250 on the computer-based test will be required to take and pass a remedial English course during their first semester at Temple University.

    Transfer Credit
