Program Requirements

Accounting and Financial Management, MS

Campus Location:
Center City, Fort Washington

The business foundation classes are offered at both campuses throughout the year. Upper-level courses are not offered at all campuses. Courses are also offered on-line.

Full-time/Part-time Status
Students are required to complete the degree program through classes offered after 4:30 p.m.

General Program Requirements:

Number of Didactic credits required beyond the Baccalaureate:

Required Courses:
Foundation Courses:ACCT 401 - Fundamentals of Accounting; ECON 403 - Economic Analysis; FIN 401 - Financial Management of Business; MSOM 405 - Operations Management; MKTG 401 - Marketing Management: Creating Value; STAT 402 - Statistical Analysis. These courses may be waived by the Program advisor based on appropriate past coursework. Required Courses: Choose four from the following accounting courses: ACCT 511, Concepts and Analysis of Financial Statements Analysis ACCT 521, Managerial Cost Accounting ACCT 550 International Accounting ACCT 570 Taxation and Managerial Decision-Making EBZ 506 Accounting Information and Payment Systems in Electronic Commerce. Choose four from the following finance courses: Fin 506 - Mgmt of Financial Institutions FIN 510 Financial Analysis and Planning FIN 511 Asset Management for Business FIN 521 Investment Management FIN 536 International Corporate Finance
