Main Campus, Harrisburg

Full-time/Part-time Status
Students are able to complete the degree program through classes offered after 4:30 p.m.

General Program Requirements:

Number of Didactic credits required beyond the Baccalaureate:
36

Required Courses:
Core Courses: Ed. 403, Sec. Ed. 471, Ed. 554, Ed. 411, Ed. Admin. 402, special Ed. 666 or Urban Ed. 400. Pedagogy Courses: A minimum of one teaching methods course is required in the student's speciality area. An additional course is required in certain specialty areas.

An approved elective is required of students who took only one pedagogy course. Practicum and Student Teaching. Ed. 413, Ed. 406, Ed. 412. (Ed. 406 & 412 must be taken together and are only offered during the Fall and Spring semesters.In order to receive a Intern Certificate you must pass the PRAXIS I & II exam.
