Students are required to complete the degree program through classes offered after 4:30 p.m.

General Program Requirements:

Number of Didactic credits required beyond the Baccalaureate:
27

Required Courses:
Within the 27 required credits, there are three required core courses (CIS 551, Programming Techniques; CIS 561, Operating Systems; and CIS 573, Automata and Formal Languages) and a required project course (CIS 751). Also, there is one required theory course (CIS 673 Design and Analysis of Algorithms), and four electives. The four electives are normally selected from the graduate CIS courses. Elective courses may also be selected from other departments upon approval of the CIS Graduate Committee.
