Admission Requirements and Deadlines

Nursing, MSN
(Concentration: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner)

Deadline
Fall: August 15

Spring: December 15

Application Type:
The admission process is rolling up through the deadline.

Letters of reference

From whom:
Letters of recommendation should be obtained from employers, College Faculty Members, Professional Colleagues.

Statement of Goals:
The Goal Statement should be approximately 500-1000 words and include the following: reason for your interest in a graduate degree; why you are interested in Temple's program, and your future career goals.

Standardized Test Scores:
The GRE is required. GREs should be a minimum of 1100; Verbal scores should be 450 or above, in the 30th percentile minimum


Interview:
Applicants are expected to interview with the track coordinator, Robert Atkins. To schedule an interview please call 215-707-5016

Resume:
A resume is required.

    Transfer Credit
    Graduate credits from an accredited institution may be transferred into the Department of Nursing, Graduate Studies. The course must be equivalent to the course offered at Temple and the grade must be a "B" or better to transfer. The decision is made by the director of the Graduate Program in conjunction with the faculty member responsible the Course in question.
