GENERAL POLICY STATEMENTS
Temple University is committed to providing a smoke-free environment
for everyone at Temple. All University facilities are designated
as non-smoking. In addition, all indoor Temple University-sponsored
activities that take place in facilities not owned or operated by
Temple University are smoke-free in those areas under Temple's control.
This policy will be enforced according to established University
policies and procedures.
It is Temple University's
policy to provide to all students, upon request, a copy of the University's
policies and procedures regarding CAMPUS SECURITY AND SAFETY, as
well as crime rates and statistics for the most recent three-year
period. In doing so, Temple University complies with two important
pieces of legislation: the Pennsylvania College and University Security
Information Act and the federal Right-to-Know and Campus Security

To spread the word about class cancellations due to severely adverse
weather conditions, the University participates with the City of
Philadelphia and cooperating radio stations which will broadcast
the following code numbers assigned to Temple University:
