Statement
of Goals:
The statement should be roughly 500-1000 words in length, and should address the applicant's interest in the field, academic and personal preparation, and career goals.
Standardized
Test Scores:
The GRE is required. 50% (raw score of 500) on verbal and quantitative sectionsMinimum TOEFL score or range of scores needed to be accepted: 575 on the paper-based test or 230 on the computer-based test. Applicants who score below 600 on the paper-based test or 250 on the computer-based test will be required to take and pass a remedial English course during their first semester at Temple University.

Transfer Credit
On the recommendation of the student's advisor, the Chair may accept transfer of graduate credits from an accredited institution. Grades must be "B" or better.
