Culminating Exam

  • Comprehensive Exam Description - The Comprehensive examination tests for understanding and application of basic principles and theory of administration.
  • Comprehensive Exam Subject - The examination covers the Master's core courses in Educational Administration.
  • Comprehensive Exam Complete - The student is expected to take the examination in the final semester of study.
  • Comprehensive Exam Write - All faculty members participate in writing questions.
  • Comprehensive Exam Grade - Faculty members evaluate responses to questions in their areas of expertise. No one faculty member scores all responses for a student.
  • Comprehensive Exam Pass - Responses are scored "oustanding:, "satisfactory", or "fail". The student must attained an overall "satisfactory rating."
  • Comprehensive Exam Schedule - The examination is given mid-semester on a saturday, during both the fall and spring semesters.
