Required Courses:
The Master of Occupational Therapy is a 67 credit, two year, full time, year round, entry-level program. Students must take 59 credits of academic course work (OT 401, 402, 403, 407, 408, 410, 411, 412, 413, 415, 430, 471, 517, 518, 519, 527, 528, 553, 554, 560) and 8 credits of full-time fieldwork (OT 581, 582) in order to complete the program.
Internship:
TrueStudents must complete two 3 month, full time, supervised clinical fieldwork experiences (OT 581 and 582) during which they have the opportunity to treat individuals with a variety of diagnoses. Students are assigned to approved clinical education centers in accordance with the Standards for an Accredited Educational Program for the Occupational Therapist, of the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education. All
professional courses and Fieldwork Level I must be successfully completed before students are permitted to enter Fieldwork Level II.
