Student Services

Students are at the heart of a great university.  Recently, Temple has made a number of significant investments in an effort to bring to our students some of the richest and most technologically advanced resources in the country.  The Diamond Line (215-204-2525) allows Temple students to hear information about their grades, billing, and registration.   Low-cost high speed internet access is available to students who wish to use the internet or Temple University's mainframe from any location.  Paley Library's new online catalog allows students to access the holdings of all Temple University Libraries through the World Wide Web, including many full-text databases and scholarly journals.  And finally, the Tuttleman Learning Center opened in the Fall of 1999 and features 30 classrooms equipped with the latest multimedia technology.

On the main campus of Temple University, extensive renovations are underway to enhance the vibrancy of our urban campus.  This will include the addition of new retail businesses, a 22-25 room bed and breakfast, additional dormitories, and secure parking garages.  Temple's Ambler campus is constructing a 53,000 square foot learning center and a new greenhouse.   The Health Sciences Campus has just added a new outpatient lung center and burn treatment center.  Our plan is to keep Temple one of the safest and most exciting urban campuses in the country.
