The University Commencement Ceremony has ended.

How was your experience using the Microsoft Translator?

Survey

Friends and family members who are non-native English speakers are invited to try out a live translation service provided by Microsoft. While Temple University recognizes there may be translation or spelling errors, we believe this service will help you enjoy the Commencement speeches.

To have commencement translated into one of the languages below, please visit this website up to an hour before Commencement begins. This page will be updated with a link to the Microsoft Translator page and the appropriate code. The code will only be available during Commencement, and will cease to work once the event has ended.

Please note: The translation service will work for a maximum of 1,000 people. If you see a disconnected message it may be due to the limit of people using it being met. Please try again later. In addition, if you join late, you will not be able to see anything said before you joined.

Microsoft Translator will provide a translation of the Commencement speeches into any of the following languages:

العربية (Arabic) 简体中文 (Chinese Simplified) 繁體中文 (Chinese Traditional) Français (French) Deutsch (German) Italiano (Italian) 日本語 (Japanese) Português (Portuguese) Русский (Russian) Español (Spanish) Afrikaans বাংলা (Bangla) bosanski (latinica) (Bosnian) Български (Bulgarian) 粵語 (繁體中文) (Cantonese (Traditional)) Català (Catalan) Hrvatski (Croatian) Čeština (Czech) Dansk (Danish) Nederlands (Dutch) Eesti (Estonian) Fijian Filipino Suomi (Finnish) Ελληνικά (Greek) Haitian Creole עברית (Hebrew) हिंदी (Hindi) Hmong Daw Magyar (Hungarian) Indonesia (Indonesian) Kiswahili Klingon 한국어 (Korean) Latviešu (Latvian) Lietuvių (Lithuanian) Malagasy Melayu (Malay) Il-Malti (Maltese) Norsk (Norwegian) Persian Polski (Polish) Querétaro Otomi Română (Romanian) Samoan srpski (ćirilica) (Serbian (Cyrillic)) srpski (latinica) (Serbian (Latin)) Slovenčina (Slovak) Slovenščina (Slovenian) Svenska (Swedish) Tahitian தமிழ் (Tamil) ไทย (Thai) lea fakatonga (Tongan) Türkçe (Turkish) Українська (Ukrainian) اردو (Urdu) Tiếng Việt (Vietnamese) Welsh Yucatec Maya
