The Music Therapy program is designed to furnish preparation for practicing music therapy in various clinical situations. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates may qualify for certification by the American Association for Music Therapy and/or the National Association for Music Therapy.

This non-performing program is designed to prepare students for entry level positions in such fields as library science, the publishing industry, communications, the new computer software industry, and other new and diverse areas of the music profession. Applicants must arrange to take examinations in the areas of musicianship and musical aptitude before enrolling in the program.
