A seminar for students new to the university to explore self awareness as a participant in a multi-university. Focus is on communication skills, examining values, decision making and the development of planning strategies to meet personal and educational goals.

0307. Interaction Analysis (3 s.h.) F S SS.

This course teaches a system of verbal communications which examines individual style and its effect on the listener. The purpose of the system is to teach those in power positions, such as teachers, supervisors, team leaders, psychologists and other medical professionals, how to communicate with others so that their messages are fully understood.

0312. Introduction to Group Dynamics (3 s.h.) F S SS.

Participation in a task group; an opportunity to give and receive feedback about individual and group behavior. Theory and research on leadership, norms, group emotionality, cohesiveness, and manipulation in groups.
