You do not need to submit the application form to start taking courses. In fact, you may simply complete the five required courses and then submit your application. If you intend to pursue the Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance after the certificate, however, it is important that you complete your application to that program early so that all of your certificate coursework may apply to your degree.
Only one certificate may be completed before students receive the MS in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance. Students must apply for the certificate within one year of completing all required coursework for the program.
How to Apply
- Submit an application.
- Obtain a copy of undergraduate and graduate transcripts from all accredited institutions you’ve attended.
- You must have a bachelor’s degree with an overall B (3.0) average to pursue a pre-master’s certificate.
- The GRE or other advanced test scores are not required.
- No transfer credits from other institutions are accepted.

How to Receive Your Certificate
Certificates are not automatically conferred when students complete the required courses. You must formally apply and mail or fax the Notice of Completion (PDF) to the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Office, indicating that you have completed the required courses.
