The master’s project is a 3-credit, field-based experience that allows students to apply their knowledge in a practical setting and produce a written document that summarizes and synthesizes their learning.

Clearance Requirements

If you complete an internship as part of your program, you may need to submit updated child abuse, criminal and drug clearances depending on the internship site. Learn more about submitting clearance requirements. Students completing independent research instead of an internship do not need to submit background clearances.
