You will have many opportunities to work with Occupational Therapy faculty members and perform cutting-edge research in the field. The following list contains primary areas of research and associated faculty members.

The program is housed in a brand new building with updated technology including an Activities of Daily Living suite, which will allow graduate students to gain practice within a simulated home environment.

After a basic design and research methods course in their first year, doctoral students design their own research capstones, which they work on closely with faculty mentors across several semesters. 

Carnegie Classification

In 2016, Temple was elevated to an R1 institution of “highest research activity” by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education, placing it in the top 4 percent of all four-year educational institutions in the nation. Temple’s research enterprise distinguishes itself through its focus on community, and using advances in technology to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

Research Funding
