Medical Device Post-Master’s Certificate

Deepen your understanding of the medical device field and stay apprised of industry issues with the School of Pharmacy’s Medical Device Post-Master’s Certificate.  Explore the similarities and differences in pharmaceutical and device regulations as you pursue this certificate. Learn key aspects of the medical device industry: regulation, compliance, and submissions in the domestic and global realms. Temple’s program specifically examines QA and RA issues facing the pharmaceutical and related industries by integrating pharmaceutical law and regulation, pharmaceutical technology, and quality assurance practices.

Created with working professionals in mind, evening and weekend classes are held on Temple’s Fort Washington campus, approximately 20 miles from the university’s Health Sciences Center. In addition, it can be completed entirely online.

Classes & Curriculum

The certificate consists of either

  • four courses for those who received the MS in RAQA from Temple or
  • five courses for students who have completed advanced pharmacy degrees from other accredited U.S. institutions and have worked in the pharmaceutical industry for a minimum of three years.

The certificate requires 12-15 credit hours and should be completed within 4 years.
