Admissions Requirements

All candidates must have the following degrees to apply for the Global Pharmacovigilance Benefit-Risk Management Certificate (Graduate).

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a health-related discipline.

  2. Master’s degree in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance from Temple University or a peer institution. The program may also accept an advanced degree in the sciences combined with extensive industry experience.

Certificates are not automatically conferred when students complete the required courses. You must formally apply and mail or fax the Notice of Completion (pdf) to the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Office, indicating that you have completed the required courses.

Application Deadline

Certificate programs have rolling admissions, so you can apply anytime.

How to Apply

Temple University Students
  1. Fill out an application form (pdf).

  2. Obtain a copy of your Temple University RAQA transcript.

Students with Advanced Science Degrees from Other Schools
  1. Fill out an application form (pdf).

  2. Obtain a copy of undergraduate and graduate transcripts from all accredited institutions you’ve attended.

  3. Write a letter indicating which RAQA courses you wish to pursue. See a list of courses.

  4. Submit a current résumé or CV
