Food Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Post-Master’s Certificate
The Post-Master's Certificate in Food Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance in Temple University's School of Pharmacy offers a more in-depth look at the ever-evolving food industry, expanding career options and building on previous education. The program is available for students who have completed their master of science degree in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance (RAQA) and are looking to diversify and build upon their professional knowledge.
The nine-credit program requires completion of three courses beyond the RAQA M.S. In those courses, you’ll learn about
- the basics of food quality,
- good manufacturing practices,
- preventative controls,
- laws and regulations, and
- agencies which govern food safety: FDA, USDA and EPA.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with and learn from regulators and professionals from Philadelphia-area food industry manufacturers such as Campbell Soup, Kraft, Lipton and Hershey, as well as distributors such as Aramark, Sysco Foods and Del Monte Fresh.
All courses in the certificate program are conveniently offered online, so working professionals can easily complete requirements.
